​Serving the Wadena area and beyond, the Maslowski Wellness and Research Center is owned and operated by the City of  Wadena, MN. At 'The Mas' we strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can create their own healthy lifestyle.

We have something for everyone! With over 57,000 square feet 'The Mas' contains a six lane lap swimming pool, zero-entry recreational pool, 90' water slide with various other water features. A sauna/steam room, whirlpool, warm water therapy pool, two racquetball courts, state-of-the-art fitness facility with a walking track, and a multipurpose gym that contains court standards for 3 volleyball courts, 3 basketball courts, tennis and pickle ball courts! We also offer a variety of programming for all ages and levels; including Red Cross Swim Lessons, fitness classes and winter leagues!

Membership to our facility can be attained in numerous ways. A short trial period or a full  year membership may be obtained. Members gain exclusive pricing and access to various programming and even have the ability to purchase 24/7 access. Whether you're passing through for a short stay, or looking for more permanent access, we are here for you!

Host your next business meeting, appreciation gala, or birthday party with us by renting one of our many rental spaces. We can host any event from a small, private gathering to a large 400 person event!
